Brenda Stofft's Rabbit Geisha (top) |
Now, which Brenda Stofft piece should I stitch next? Here are three that have caught my eye--
The Ready for Takeoff piece is charming. Hold on to your hat before you jump off a cliff!

I love the Meditating Buddha Cat. So serene....

How about Red Riding Hood and the little wolf? Perfect for the child who is a little frightened of the Big Bad Wolf.

How about the Mermaid and her Pet Seahorse? Walking the seahorse sounds like fun.

Sigh. There are too many choices. What would YOU choose?
UPDATE: Tony Minieri has done a stitch guide for this canvas as well. Harriet posted her finished piece on Facebook.

Hi Jane,
Oh, I hope you'll stitch the Meditating Buddha Cat. A couple of years ago, you featured this canvas on your site and I raced out and bought it. I've not yet stitched it, and I'd dearly love to see what you might do with it. It was the first of what has become a number of Eastern-themed canvases. With warmest regards, RobinG in Indiana.
Robin, you might want to read this--my first draft of ideas for this canvas. You are welcome to use them as a starting point to stitch your canvas.

Jane, I *still* hope you'll stitch Buddha Cat. Your initial ideas on the canvas were one of the first gems I found when I was exploring needlepoint blogs. I promptly bookmarked the page and started doodling on my own. But I'd love to see you tackle that canvas, oh master enabler. I know it would be stunning. On the other hand, thanks to pieces like Buddha Cat and the explosion of interest in decorative stitches, I've substantially expanded my NP library. I'm retiring in October and I plan to plunge into all of them. Best, RobinG in Indiana
