SIlk Ribbon Stitch Guides (River Silks)

River Silks' website has something called Kits to Go, which allows you to buy a canvas and the ribbons needed to dress it up.

Their website also has stitch guides for each of the kits, which is a lovely touch.

Purple Hydrangea (Lani and Tony Minieri)

Amy has finished her Lani small floral.  I think this is Purple Hydrangea, changed to other flowers.  The stitch guide is from Tony Minieri.

Stitch Guides for Silk Ribbon Techniques

Normally when we think "stitch guides" we are thinking about a guide for a painted canvas, but I just realized that River Silks has free stitch guides for silk ribbon embroidery on their website, much of which is done on painted canvases.  The guides don't usually have a photo of the finished design but if you browse the Gallery on the website, you can usually find a photo of each completed design.

BeStitched with Flowers and a Bird

If you are a fan of Melissa Shirley's table bouquet series, then you'll be fascinated by what Lisa Kessler of BeStitched did with Melissa's "Spring Bouquet."

Talk to BeStitched if you are interested in the guide.  I'm not sure if they sell it except as a kit but since the guide uses Barbara Elmore's new ribbons, the kit might be a good investment rather than hunting all over for new ribbons.
