Love You More Updates Website

Love You More has updated their website and as part of their makeover, they now add "SGA " which stands for Stitch Guide Available to any photo of a canvas that has a stitch guide!  You will have to look at the design pages, though, and I don't know if the stitch guides come with the canvas or cost extra.  This isn't available for photos on the home page.  Still, it's a nice touch.

Victorian Children (Melissa Shirley and Needle Works)

The Needle Works in Austin has posted three of Melissa Shirley's Victorian Children canvases complete with stitch guides to their shop website.  I think the guides were done by the shop although it is difficult to tell.  Girl in Blue Coat--

Boy with Wreath and Tree--

Girl with Snowball--

As I write this all three are out of stock but I am hoping that just means they have to wait for more of the canvases to arrive from Melissa Shirley Designs.  Contact Needle Works for help.

My Hood (Machelle Somerville and Pat Miller)

Pat just finished stitching the model of Machelle Somerville's "My Hood" in the pinks and purples version.  This piece is a master class on stitches useful for buildings.  Pat used eighteen different stitches on the houses with twenty-nine different threads to create texture. This is a great guide just to have if you stitch lots of architectural stitches.

The canvas and stitch guide are available from Fleur de Paris which distributes Machelle's designs.  Or you can get the guide only directly from Pat if you have the canvas already.

Guides from Queen Anne Stitches

Because Queen Anne Stitches doesn't have a website, just a Facebook page, it can be difficult for people who don't live near Santa Clarita, California to know just what the shop has to offer.

Fortunately, I've run across several Facebook photos of pieces finished using Queen Anne Stitches guides.  Here is a Melissa Shirley floral, guide by Heide Bontempo.

This tree with birds is from Birds of a Feather, guide by Sherry Bray.

Thanksgiving Parade, from Susan Roberts, was stitched using a Sherry Bray stitch guide.

Here is a 3-D pig from Tapestry Fair, using a Sherry Bray guide.

Contact the shop about getting these guides.
