Ice Cream Socials (Leigh Designs) UPDATED

Leigh Designs' latest series is out today and it is making me hungry!  To see why, click on each picture to see the stitched model.  I can't decide which is my favorite, but I can see a visit to the local Sonic drive through in my near future!

The Ice Cream Socials all have stitch guides you can order if you wish.  The guides are available from Leigh Designs as an optional addition to the canvas order your favorite shop can place for you.  Guides are by the incomparable Leigh Designs team of Sandy Arthur, Leona Cole, Pat Miller, Sharon Quick and Carolyn Taggart.

UPDATE:  The Needlepointer did a video of their Melissa Shirley trunk show and at the end, they show off the models of the ice cream socials. I'm getting hungry al over again!

The Two Sandras UPDATED

Sandra Vargas designs for Ruth Schmuff and Sandra Arthur occasionally does stitch guides for Ruth's shop.  Put the two Sandras together and what do you get?  The Queen of Hearts, of course!

Stitch guide by Sandy, right down to the little beauty mark on her cheek and her pouty little mouth.  The stitch guide is included with the canvas if you need a Queen in your house.

UPDATE:  Oh, look!  The Two Sandras also collaborated on the Lady Mad Hatter!

Leigh Designs' New Stitch Guides Section

Leigh Designs has started to organize a stitch guide section for their website.  You can go there to see if your favorite Leigh canvas has a guide.  You can also browse guides just for fun or to learn more about a stitch guide writer's style.  Click on a guide and you'll be taken to a photo of the finished piece.

I'm told that this section will be expanded to include a summary page for each stitch guide writer but that's in the future.  For now we can just explore all the wonderful work Leigh's designs are.
