Suzanne and Jean Smith's Pink Poppy
Suzanne of Hugs and Stitches taught Jean Smith's Pink Poppy at Pocket Full of Stitches in late April. If you are a fan of Jean's or of floral designs and missed the class, you will be able to pick up the kit including Suzanne's guide after class. Just talk to PFOS.

Chandail has updated their website to show off the fully kitted out projects they offer. These come with the canvas, stitch guide and threads, all ready to go. Many of the guides are from Cindy Howland and Kathy Kulesza but there are some from Cynthia Thomas and some pieces are uncredited. There is a wide variety of canvases, ranging from Kirk and Bradley to Melissa Shirley and Brenda Stofft, among others, and several Judaic projects.

Fancy Stitches Has Guides
Fancy Stitches in Cleburne, Texas has a series of classes each year which are listed on their website. In exploring the current class schedule I realized they offer kits of threads, stitch guide and canvas for previous classes. They are still offering Mile High Princess' "Curly Witch with Apples" (stitch guide by Sandy Bailey), Sew Much Funs' "Christmas Friends" (stitch guide by Sandy Bailey), and Shelly Tribbey's "2014 Santa" (stitch guide by Gayle Anderson). Contact the shop for details if anything here catches your eye.

Stitch Suggestions from Fireside
Fireside Stitchery has updated their website with a list of "stitch suggestions" available for purchase. It looks like you have to buy the threads and embellishments kit plus the stitch suggestions as a package. The canvases are available for purchase separately. There is a good variety of canvases from many designers available with their guides.

The shop also has a listing of the guides they've already written. Browse to see if the guide (hand written or typed) is already done.

Melissa Shirley's Spring Bouquet
It's not exactly a club but BeStitched has three kits of Melissa Shirley's Spring Bouquet left from their retreat. The stitch guide is by Lisa Kessler and the canvas itself is 13 count.

Stitch Guides from Nashville Needleworks
I just learned Connie Glenn Camp at Nashville Needleworks has a stitch guide for the Ashley Dillion/Susan Roberts Designs Easter Bunny and friends canvas. So I checked their website, hoping for a photo of the finished model. I didn't find out but I did discover a listing of all the kits with guides they offer.

The shop also has a listing of all the guides available.
https://nashvilleneedleworks.com/product-category/stitch-guide/
There is a beaded frog weight by Connie, the Easter Bunny canvas already mentioned, Easter eggs by Melissa Shirley, Victorian Christmas kids (also Melissa Shirley), and much more. Many of these pieces were from classes taught at the shop.
It is likely that you will have to purchase the entire kit to get the guide but the website doesn't say. Check with the shop to be certain.

The Needlepointer's Kits-To-Go
The Needlepointer in Washington State has lovely classes and retreats, which always make me drool. While browsing their newly revamped website, I realized that they are now making kits (which include stitch guides, the canvas and the supplies) available from past classes for those who live thousands of miles away like me. They call these Kit-to-Go projects. The range currently available are listed here. I feel that I need to warn you that some class pieces are harder to follow when the teacher isn't present than others, so ask before you buy if you can get help if something isn't clear in the stitch guide.

A Stitch Guide For Every Experience Level
Nimble Needle reminds us that not everyone wants an advanced stitch guide by highlighting the Just Add Threads series of canvases from Shear Creations. They come with a stitch guide and use only a few threads so they are perfect for travel or for someone just starting to dabble in needlepoint. They are also fine gifts if you want to tempt someone who already stitches to start to needlepoint.

Shear Creations is actually Suzanne Howren and Beth Robertson--the geniuses behind the Stitches for Effect series--and is distributed by Artists Collection if you want your local shop to order one or more of these for you.
