Sandra Vargas designs for Ruth Schmuff and Sandra Arthur occasionally does stitch guides for Ruth's shop.  Put the two Sandras together and what do you get?  The Queen of Hearts, of course!

The Newest Russian Maiden: Woodland Belle UPDATED

Woodland Belle

The latest Russian maiden to be stitched in Chilly Hollow is Woodland Belle.   Her guide will be available from Leigh Designs at the TNNA trade show in January when your shop orders her canvas. You can see all of her plus her seven Winter Maiden sisters here.

She is a bit different from her sisters in that she doesn't wear fur.   Instead, she represents the pine forest with her fancy headdress and pine cone staff.  The photo above just shows a bit of Belle as she's not officially "out" yet.  I'll post the full photograph on January 7, which is Russian Christmas!.
